Okay. End of acknowledgements.
Today was quite unlucky for me on the whole. Haha.
Firstly I went to redhill, the Leng Kee CC to practice my piano.
The practice totally sucked. my playing was real bad. I have to pia later. my semiquavers are getting more and more messed up. and the carpeting sucked. I could actually hear what the person in the next room was playing la. But at least the piano keys werent as shallow as I thought, cause charmaine said it would be quite shallow. And the piano is a kawai, my piano teacher's piano. Okay. and the keys were damned slippery.
I played from 9-10am, grabbed a quick bite from 10-10.15am and then rushed to Newton. Reached Newton at 10.45am.
But i reached school at 11.30am. Guess why?
I came out and saw the bus stop with bus 171. checked the board and realised i had to cross the road, instead of what waiwai said, "no need". Then i looked for a traffic light or zebra crossing to cross the road, but unfortunately, there were absolutely NONE. So I walked all the way to Newton Food Centre based on my memory of going to Newton MRT ONCE two years ago (special thanks to dx), from the nearest bus stop and retraced my steps. There, I thought I needed to cross the road, because of the first incident with 171. After crossing TWO roads and getting to the bus stop opposite, I checked the board for the destination and realized that I neednt cross the road at all.
So, I painstakenly waited for the green lights AGAIN and got back the bus stop, there after, I realized I missed my 66. Another 66 came about 15 minutes later and I got to school, thinking that THAT was the end of my troubles for the day.
I mistook the HCI gate for the former-TCHS gate and got down. Technically speaking, I got down one stop before my destination. And I decided to cross the bridge and walk back to school. But the side gate wasnt open. So I have to walk some more. Walking isnt that bad. I had to walk under the HOT sun in a BLACK shirt! Argh. And I still had to run up the stairs after the whole thing! 4th floor some more!
This is the worst thing: After tiao yin, and stuff, it was 11.45am already. And guess what? CCA ended at 12.15pm! I went through SO MUCH TROUBLE, just to attend 30 MINUTES of CCA! Is it worth it? Argh. This is definitely a memorable birthday! =P
